Well, Ok I admit it, yet again I have been very slack on the blogging front. In saying that all I have to talk about/show is more of the same. The good news is I'm on the homestretch & only have 28 boxes to go YAY! Hopefully a bit of normality will return then without me spending any spare second thinking "I should be painting". I love it, don't get me wrong but time constraints can be v. stressful! Anyway here is batch number...7.... I think....xo

So 1 month later & another 2 batches completed, I've managed to work out I can do 10 boxes in 13 hours....easier said than done when working from home! Experimented with new paint that I thought would save me time, but ended up taking longer.....don't you hate that! But moved on......almost half way, will have painted 52 boxes after this next lot. I'm going to treat us all to a weekend away when I'm done as weekends at the moment are pretty non-existent......more soon, K xo

Just finished batch no 2, for the smaller kiddies so all in the original Littlies designs. I'm into the swing of things now & all the painters injuries seem to have eased off! The lovely people up in QLD have offered me an ongoing contract to produce boxes for all there kids, so I'm very excited to be working with them! More soon, K xo

Hi Everyone, well I've been painting non-stop for about 10 days & as of Tues this week the 1st 12 boxes are done & delivered, all in the new designs which I think turned out great! Only 70 odd to go now!!!!.................just need to work on painters neck & back injuries now...OWWWW!

Jut found out we are getting a new addition to our family! A beautiful greyhound called Zorro, he arrives on Tuesay & is from GAP (greyhound adoption program). Although I have never had a greyhound before they are beautiful family dogs & suprisingly lazy! Its amazing how many you notice around once you start looking! I stop & ask people about them now & every single person I have spoken to have said its the best thing they ever did & they would never own another breed of dog again! Wow, it really is so cold.......I can't believe winter is here with a vengeance & it ain't even winter! Here are a couple of cute play suits to keep your Littlies snug! OK, I know its not a big deal but I feel organised now! Easter break was great, more orders came in......yay & stress! Am feeling obliged to watch the Royal Wedding tonight, perhaps just the ceremony not the 4 hours of pre-ceremony coverage....what could they possibly talk about???? Have a great weekend all. K

5 days holiday...YAY....well not for me, painting as usual, lucky I love it! Mixed in with festivities of course, the boys are very excited & are expecting great things from the Easter Bunny, Ninjagos, Bakugans......what happened to good old chocolate eggs? And the weather is looking great for the weekend, hmmmm....maybe a can get some tan back? Happy Easter everyone, next post will be the after shot of my soon to be very tidy/decluttered/organised workspace!

Well I'm waiting for 80 odd treasure boxes to be made & am having a major calm before the storm couple of days.....why do I feel like I've forgotten something? I'm sure there are more things I could do to before for the painting onslaught..............below is before shot of my workspace, I'm going to have to de-clutter to get a production line happening!!!! Well, the fantastic news is I have just won a great job for a wonderful company up in QLD, alot of treasure boxes!!! So I am very excited, they involve some new & groovy designs, so keep your eyes out for them soon!

Happy Friday to one & all! Hope you all have a lovely weekend, I for one am really looking forward to an alcholic beverage tonight. Been a busy week generating more business, but I have also been mother of the year this week, been to swimming lesson 3 times, class room helper & all round picker upper & dropper offer. Not a bad social life for 3 & 6 year old!

New product: I have these cute mini-canvases, which I generally give away but they have proven to be very popular...so I might just start charging! Will be doing a free give away for all Littlies members soon....so watch this space......

It's been a great week, had a few good orders & actually been able to get them painted without little people at me.... "Mum can I have a bikki"? Bless Kinda & school. I miss them, but I think I might actually be starting to feel like an adult again.......shock horror. Baby Rhyme Time at the local libraries in Maribynong, what a great idea & how gorgeous are the bright colours for the marketing brochures?! This is the sort of stuff I love & that inspired all my Littlies characters to be in bright bold colours! 1st day of spring & 3 months since my last blog, I'm feeling inspired at last! Sales are trickling in, still mainly from Sydney rather than local. I've now got littlies magnets on my car so keep an eye out for the Littlies mobile in the local area, being driven by a woman with a crazed look on her face! Trying to get stuff ready for Christmas, well trying to think abour getting stuff ready for Christmas. Am now considering becoming a Tweeter, will then link Twitter, F/b & blog together....I think! If anyone know the advantages of these please let me know. So far all it has created for me is guilt about not writing enough!!!!! OK, I know I have been very slack. My short lived insipation has run dry! But I am attempting to go retail, up until now I have found pricing my product to be very difficult, being that everthing is hand done so the money is in the time it takes me to paint/sew etc. Anyway everyone keeps saying I should go retail so this is me giving it a go.....never know what might happen. One day I might have all those lovely people O/S helping me out with painting etc!! Will keep you posted........

New things are........ Littlies treasure boxes, personalised! Either small or large size with your Littlies name on the lid & a message inside the lid included in the price of $79 small & $109 large. Something can will keep for ever to store all their own goodies in or ideal for mums & dads to keep first lock of hair, first tooth, birth certificate etc! These are really selling well now, google seems to love me at the moment & alot of interstate people are buying them, YAY! I came up with these as I had real trouble finding them for my boys!

Yarraville Market last Saturday was great! Loved the indoor hall & had loads of people come through so thankyou to all those that made it! Photo of stall set up following, I was amazed at the amount of goodies I have produced since I started September last year, due to lots of new product lines I guess, photo frames, painted canvas etc. Next market is on July 4, I am going up north for a holiday then but will be at the next market on August 1!
